![]() Decoding Dyslexia Kicks Off Three Days of Dyslexia Events in Washington, DC Dyslexia Advocates Convene on Mall to Celebrate Dyslexia Progress Nationwide Washington, D.C. -- On Monday, July 11, from 3pm-5pm, dyslexia advocates from across the USA will convene at the United States Capitol in DC for the inaugural #sayDyslexia Awareness Rally. The Rally kicks off 3 days of dyslexia events and celebrations that include a Dyslexia Youth Advocacy Camp, a book signing by Ameer Baraka, a Senate Luncheon on Breaking the School to Prison Pipeline, a Dyslexia Congressional Reception and a symposium in the House of Representatives that focuses on "What You Need to Know About Dyslexia." The #sayDyslexia Week of Advocacy furthers local and national progress spurred by the national Decoding Dyslexia grassroots organization present in all 50 states. Decoding Dyslexia members include parents, teachers, advocates and organizations whose combined efforts have led to legislative, regulatory and policy progress. In addition to local advocacy victories resulting in more than 30+ state laws, the #sayDyslexiaRally and subsequent events will continue to bring awareness and celebrate the momentum in Congress.
